These terms apply when you access or use CognitiveBench and its browser-based tests.
Purpose of the service
CognitiveBench provides free cognitive exercises for entertainment and general self-assessment. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes as long as you follow these terms and applicable law.
Not medical or clinical advice
Test results are not medical advice, a diagnosis, an IQ score, or a standardized clinical evaluation. Do not use a CognitiveBench score to make decisions about medical treatment, medication, employment, education admissions, legal capacity, or another high-stakes matter. If you are concerned about cognitive changes, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Measurement limitations
Browser measurements can be affected by hardware, display refresh rate, input devices, browser behavior, system load, interruptions, practice, and other conditions. We do not guarantee that results are precise, repeatable across devices, or comparable with laboratory equipment or validated population norms. See the Methodology page for more detail.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the site, attempt to bypass security controls, overload the service, use automated access in a way that disrupts other visitors, or use the site for unlawful or harmful activity. Do not present CognitiveBench results as certified medical, educational, or employment assessments.
Age and supervision
CognitiveBench is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, do not use the service. Younger users should use online services only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement and in accordance with local law.
Availability and changes
Tests, content, features, and URLs may be changed, paused, or removed. CognitiveBench may also update these terms when the service changes. Continued use after an updated version is published means the new terms apply to later use.
Service as-is
CognitiveBench is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, measurement accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the results.
