About CognitiveBench

Free browser-based cognitive tests with personal benchmarks.

CognitiveBench is an independently developed browser-based project. It was created to make simple cognitive exercises easy to access without an account, download, subscription, or paywall. The current tools cover reaction time, selective attention, visual matching, sequence recall, number memory, and pointing accuracy.

Why the project exists

Many online tests present a score without explaining how it was measured or what can affect it. CognitiveBench combines each interactive tool with clear instructions, measurement limitations, privacy information, and a practical focus on comparing your own results over time. Reaction time history stays in the browser on the device where the test was taken.

What personal benchmarks mean here

Personal benchmarks are your own previous results, preferably collected on the same device and browser. Hardware, display refresh rate, input method, fatigue, practice, and other factors can change a score. The site does not currently provide validated population percentiles or claim that a browser result is directly comparable with a laboratory test.

What CognitiveBench is not

CognitiveBench is not a medical provider, diagnostic service, standardized intelligence test, university laboratory, or clinical assessment platform. The tests are offered for entertainment and general self-assessment. Read the Methodology, Privacy, and Disclaimer pages for more detail.
