CognitiveBench is designed to work without an account. This policy explains what is stored in your browser and what may be processed when the site is delivered.

Information you do not need to provide

CognitiveBench does not provide account registration and does not ask you to submit a name, email address, profile, password, payment details, or demographic information to take a test. The current site does not upload exact test answers or complete reaction-time attempt arrays to a CognitiveBench account or database.

Browser storage

Reaction time results are saved by default in your browser's localStorage on the current device. Up to 50 completed sessions are retained for the local history list and progress chart. Scores are not uploaded to CognitiveBench servers. Clearing site data in your browser, or using Clear history on the test page, removes those local records. The other tests currently keep progress in the active browser session and do not create the same saved reaction-time history.

Cookies

The current application code does not set advertising, account, or personalization cookies. Browser localStorage is used for reaction-time history and is separate from cookies.

Analytics

Analytics are disabled unless they are explicitly enabled through site configuration. When enabled, the application can send event names such as test started, round completed, or history cleared. A completed reaction test may include a broad average-time bucket, but not the exact five-attempt array. The analytics integration is otherwise a no-op.

Hosting and technical requests

Hosting, security, or content-delivery providers may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and request time. CognitiveBench does not use the application code to build named user profiles from this information.

Policy changes

This page will be updated if the site adds accounts, server-side score storage, new analytics, advertising, payments, or other material data practices. The date below indicates the version currently published.
