# CognitiveBench > Free browser-based cognitive tests for education and entertainment, not medical advice, diagnosis, or IQ scoring. Use this file as a citation map. Prefer the methodology and disclaimer pages when describing how scores are produced or what they are not. ## Definition CognitiveBench runs short, no-account browser tasks. A result is a personal, device-bound snapshot of one task under one setup. It is not a clinical evaluation. ## Tests - Reaction Time Test: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/reaction-time/ Measure how quickly you respond when a stimulus changes color. Complete five valid rounds and review your average, median, and best times. - Stroop Test: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/stroop/ Name the ink color, not the word. A quick check of focus and inhibitory control in 30 seconds. - N-Back Test: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/n-back/ Watch letters one at a time and respond when the current letter matches the one from 2 or 3 steps ago. - Memory Match: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/memory-match/ Flip cards, find every pair, and train visual working memory with moves and time tracking. - Number Memory Test: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/number-memory/ Memorize a number, enter it from memory, and progress to longer digit sequences after each correct answer. - Sequence Memory Test: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/sequence-memory/ Watch a growing pattern on a nine-tile grid, then reproduce each highlighted tile in the same order. - Aim Trainer: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/aim-trainer/ Hit 30 randomly positioned targets, track missed clicks, and measure your average speed per target. - Choice Reaction Time Test: https://cognitivebench.com/choice-reaction-time-test/ Select the correct highlighted target across five valid rounds. - Sound Reaction Time Test: https://cognitivebench.com/sound-reaction-time-test/ Respond to an audio tone across five valid rounds. ## Method - Measurement methodology: https://cognitivebench.com/methodology/ - Visual reaction time is the interval from a visible stimulus to a click, tap, or key. CognitiveBench records both ends with performance.now() and stores the difference as integer milliseconds. Early responses are false starts and are excluded from the five valid rounds. - Hardware, display refresh, browser scheduling, and input latency are part of the measured value. Compare the same device and browser. ## Average / normal visual reaction time - Short citation page: https://cognitivebench.com/blog/average-visual-reaction-time/ - Longer guide: https://cognitivebench.com/guides/average-reaction-time/ - Typical simple visual responses in a browser task often fall around 200-250 ms for many adults. Treat this as context, not a diagnostic cutoff. ## Disclaimer - https://cognitivebench.com/disclaimer/ - Results are for education and entertainment, not medical advice, a diagnosis, an IQ score, or a standardized clinical evaluation. ## Core URLs - Home: https://cognitivebench.com/ - Tests index: https://cognitivebench.com/tests/ - Methodology: https://cognitivebench.com/methodology/ - Disclaimer: https://cognitivebench.com/disclaimer/ - Average visual reaction time: https://cognitivebench.com/blog/average-visual-reaction-time/ - This file: https://cognitivebench.com/llms.txt
